Waking up early
So I’m browsing this pickthebrain.com site and it’s pretty good! I immediately found 2 good posts about sleep.
So this first post is called “9 ways to wake up ready to rock”. Most of them I already knew, like exercise, no caffeine at night, light dinners. But some were new and interesting. Like one suggestion was to leave your work in the middle of a task. This way when you get to work the next day, you have something easy to complete and get your day going. As opposed to stalling on starting a whole new tasks for the day – what a good idea!
This second post is called Optimize Your Sleep For Better Health and More Free Time. And it describes an expirment involving watching how many hours you sleep and filling out a chart on how energetic you feel. Completing this will give you an idea of how many hours you need. Good idea! Might be some work though. I might try it out.
But for the most part, I know the easiest way for me to get up early is to go to bed early and that’s not always easy to do when you have things going on.
